Dr. Jennifer C. Heath is a board certified general psychiatrist. Her practice is limited to adult outpatient psychiatric patients and focuses on medication management in men and women from ages 18 and beyond. Dr. Heath is comfortable treating geriatric patients.. She received her Medical Degree in 1990 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. In 1994 she completed her Psychiatric Residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Heath is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a member of American Psychiatric Association, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Association, The International Bipolar Society, Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, North Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, Texas Academy of Psychiatric Physicians, Tarrant County Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, Neuroscience Education Institute, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and The Wilderness Medical Society, She has been nominated by her peers as "Top Doctor" in Fort Worth Magazine and Texas

PLEASE NOTE: New patients are required to pay in full upon booking appointment. A 48 hour notice is required for new patient cancellation.
Please Note:
Medicare will not reimburse for services from a non-participating provider, however some Medicare replacement and supplemental plans will.
*Psychiatric Diagnostic Interview- An interview with the patient and the patient's family if desired.
*A mental status examination is performed on the patient to assist in developing a diagnosis. Psychiatric Treatment Plan involves discussing the diagnosis and treatment options for the patient. Lab Studies, EKG, MRI, and Neurological testing may also be ordered.
*Psychiatric Medication Management- Meeting with the patient to assess effectiveness of medications prescribed and determine any further treatment.
